We are pleased to announce our third DFW screening of The Sultan and the Saint, a docu-drama film produced by Unity Productions Foundation and narrated by Academy Award winning actor Jeremy Irons. This production tells the story of an unlikely encounter between Saint Francis of Assisi and Sultan Malik Al-Kamil during the Fifth Crusade. Featuring cinematic reenactments and interviews with renowned historians, religious thinkers, and psychologists, the film centers on the journey and meeting of two pious men of faith who sought peace during a terrible period of religious conflict.
The screening will be held at the University of Texas at Dallas on Saturday, November 11th from 3:30 – 5:30PM, in the ATEC Theatre. Admission is free, but registration is required via Eventbrite.
